I was very lucky this morning to be able to interview Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner about “Twilight: Eclipse”. I may not have Bieber Fever but I am definitely a Twi-hard, who is firmly on Team Jacob. Both stars were great to interview - down to earth, relaxed and sweet. The full interview will be shown on “Movie Juice” on Movie Extra (Australia) soon, and I’ll post it here after that. But in the meantime, check out my favourite part of the interview. My cheeky “friend” called “Malicia” just had to ask Taylor one last question…
Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart chat to Ryan, Monty and Wippa today on Novafm. Listen in from 4 – 6 to hear the full interview.
Ryan Shelton, Katie ‘Monty’ Dimond and Michael ‘Wippa’ Wipfli spoke to the Twilight mega-stars Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart before their appearance at Sydney’s Luna Park where they will meet their diehard fans this evening.
Nova was bombarded with pleas from fans that missed out on an opportunity to get up close and personal with the Twilight stars. Some fans even created videos on youtube begging Nova for last minute opportunities to attend tonight’s event.
Ryan, Monty and Wippa touched on life with the paparazzi which encouraged Kristen to speak up.
Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart talk about paparazzi and meat patties
"I look angry all the time.” she told Ryan, Monty and Wippa “It is annoying for the first five minutes but then you just get back to your work.”
Ryan, Monty and Wippa also kept their word and asked some of your questions straight from our twilight forum at novafm.com.au. We will give you a clue as to which questions were asked!
One included Monty speaking to Taylor about the splits and another involved asking Kristen about studying in Australia!
You can hear the full chat from 4pm today!

The actors jetted into Sydney for a whirlwind visit to promote The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, and sat down with Kylie Speer to talk about that infamous tent scene, dealing with Aussie "Twi-hards", and how they'll feel when the blockbuster franchise wraps after Breaking Dawn.
Eclipse opens in Australia on July 1.

And as the “bedroom scene” from the upcoming Eclipse movie played out on the big screens, off-camera we saw a frazzled Kristen Stewart mouth the words “Here we go!” to Taylor Lautner, who promptly put his arm around her and gave his mate what looked like a comforting squeeze. Whether this means she was once again dreading the expected questions about her off-screen romance with the once tousled-haired hottie (who just shaved his head for a new movie), we have no idea. If Rob had been there, we might have had the chance to psychoanalyse him too, but he wasn’t, dammit. What do you think?
It was actually quite cringe-worthy watching Kristen at times tonight. OK, she’s on a tight schedule and has been busy doing movie promo stuff for days – including an exclusive interview with Nova’s Ryan, Monty and Wippa today, but whereas Taylor is all smiles and full-moon grins for the cameras, Kristen talks with all the grace of a car crash victim at times. Bless her. She shuffles in her seat, legs crossed, fingers in her hair or on her face, nervously moving her body in every which way she can to mentally block the fact that she is where she is. But to be fair, she’s being forced to live in the spotlight, like a terrified rabbit in a science lab. How would you like it, being prodded, poked and tormented by people with flashlights and occasionally, evil intentions?
The media’s been pretty tough with Kristen. She’s criticised for talking, criticised for not talking, and asked silly questions all the time, like “Who’s your fashion role model?” It’s no wonder she flipped the bird last night from her balcony at the Park Hyatt hotel. Imagine having the paps hovering outside your window when you’re trying to wind down. Want a sneaky ciggie in private? Forget about it. The birth of the telephoto lens and instant Internet access put a stop to that little trick ages ago!
Back to Kristen’s fashion role model. She doesn’t have one, actually. When asked tonight at Luna Park, she threw the question back at the girl who asked it, who consequently didn’t have an answer either. “See how tough it is?” Kristen told her, smiling. To be fair, the poor girl is asked a lot of other stuff any girl at all wouldn’t want to answer on a stage in front of 400 people!
She still looked gorgeous sat amongst the lucky audience in the Big Top tonight, however! In her black top and yellow skirt, hair pulled back, her skin looked almost as bright as Taylor’s, who rocked a greeny brown jacket and answered every question like an articulate man, rather than the teenage boy who was first thrust into this million dollar franchise! Taylor revealed his favourite book of the series was Eclipse (Kristen’s was New Moon), while Kristen admitted she didn’t get to take part in much of the action during the filming for Eclipse:
“They’d all go off to fight camp and learn this and that, and I’d be like, well, I’ll just read my book,” she laughed. Well, we know Bella needs protection. Wouldn’t want her getting hurt – that’s what Edward and Jacob are fighting for, at the end of the day, right?
The fans were a screaming mass of energy tonight, the media were as snap happy in their raincoats as the teenage girls were, holding signs reading statements like “Jacob, I wanna have your puppies” and “Werewolves do it better!” After the 45 minute Q&A, Kristen and Taylor spent about 20 minutes on the red carpet (more like a rain-soaked black walkway!) signing posters, DVDs and getting their photos taken with fans. One girl even got to hand Kristen a birthday book she’d made for her in April but didn’t get round to mailing: “Kristen took it off me, and she couldn’t believe it, she said thanks! I got 80 people from my twitter group to write a page each, and now, she has it. I can’t believe it!” she told us, as her friend showed us a photo she had taken with Kristen, who was grinning like mad, for once.
Robert Pattinson has gushed about girlfriend and co-star Kristen Stewart, calling her surprisingly fierce.
The Twilight vampire told Merrick, Dools and Ricki-Lee that meeting the 20-year-old actress for the first time was "weird".
"It was weird. I mean, everything about the pairing with Kristen kind of worked out for the story," he said.
"I went in to the audition having absolutely no idea of what to do and because of the way she was playing it kind of shocked me into doing a performance that I didn't realise I could do.
"I guess she brings a kind of toughness and also a kind of mystery to Bella, which is not really there in the book.
"She's kind of in a lot of ways, a damsel in distress in the book, and Kristen's very...there's a kind of fierce fierceness behind her, which I didn't really expect the actress who played Bella would have."
The British actor said he is still surprised at the success of Twilight and that its success puts a certain pressure on him.
"In the beginning I had no idea. It seems to get bigger and bigger and bigger every week that is going past," he said.
"I feel pressure to live up to making a good movie, but I mean the expectations are so diverse.""

HYSTERICAL screams, tears and even a marriage proposal greeted Twilight werewolf Taylor Lautner when he braved a public appearance before 4000 fans last night.
More than 4000 Twi-hards packed Luna Park last night in the hope of quizzing Lautner and his co-star Kristen Stewart. With the gloomy weather befitting the dark vampire love story, the fans' loyalty paid off when their idols walked the soggy black carpet stopping for photos and hugs.source: The Daily Telegraph

This morning I had the absolute pleasure of talking to adorable "Twilight" twosome Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart, who are in town to promote the upcoming "The Twilight Saga : Eclipse". I was absolutely blown away by just how sweet, funny and down-to-earth these two were. They truly and totally surpassed all expectations.
In addition to discussing "Eclipse" and the upcoming "Breaking Dawn" ("I can't wait to see Renesmee!", said Kristen; "We have a very good director behind us who can help with that" added Taylor), I also had the opportunity to quiz Stewart on those "Wanted 2" rumours and get a "Stretch Armstrong" update out of the wonderfully-ribbed Lautner.
Stewart was rumoured to be replacing Angelina Jolie in "Wanted 2" a few weeks back. One almost expected her to laugh off the rumours - but funnily enough, she didn't.
"Right now, I have two projects lined up", Stewart, coyly, responded. "I'm doing On the Road this Summer and then I'm doing Breaking Dawn. So other than that I have nothing 'nailed down'."
Doesn't sound like a denial to me!
Of his future projects, Lautner said "Stretch Armstrong", based on the toy line, is happening but "it's not happening for a while though, about a year from now. I'm doing a movie called Abduction which starts in about a month. Then Breaking Dawn. And hopefully Stretch after that".
Wow, "Stretch Armstrong" is a long ways off - let's hope it doesn't fall by the wayside (like the "Max Steel" movie that Lautner was going to do, did!).
Look out for my interview with this "hot" duo shortly!

How Dakota Fanning Balances Hollywood and High School
By Eunice Oh
Monday May 31, 2010 04:10 PM
She may have started out a child actress, but Dakota Fanning hasn't given up one quintessential part of her teenage years: the prom. "[I went with] a group of friends," the actress told PEOPLE while hosting the UCLA 5K Run/Walk on May 23 benefiting the Child Life/Child Development program at Mattel Children's Hospital. "I think you put more effort into getting ready before than actually you spend at the place. But it was so much fun."
Fanning, 16, currently a junior and a varsity cheerleader at an L.A. high school, says she's "lucky" to be able to have a movie career while going to school – where she isn't treated differently because of her Hollywood status. "I've been able to have a really great experience and it's almost over. I can't believe it!" she says.
Outside of school, Fanning's enjoyed another kind of experience: Being part of the Twilight worldwide phenomenon as the villainous Volturi Jane. "It's so fun," says Fanning about filming with the cast in Vancouver. "I've done a few movies with Kristen Stewart now, and she's become one of my best friends, so it's always fun to be with her. The cast is also fun and so nice and [we] have really become very close." Working with Stewart on another film, The Runaways, in which the two stars shared a kiss, also brought them close, says Fanning. "We have a really close bond in the film so it allowed us to have a really close bond in real life as well," she says.
As for whether she's Team Edward or Team Jacob, Fanning is playing it neutral and staying tight-lipped. "I will get in trouble if I [picked] one," she says.

"Your little persona is made up of all the places that people have seen you and what has been said about you. And usually the places that I am are so overwhelming in the moment and fleeting for me - like one second where I've said something stupid, that's me, forever. What you don't see are the cameras shoved in my face and the bizarre intrusive questions being asked, or the people falling over themselves, screaming and taunting to get a reaction. All you see is an actor or a celebrity lit up but a flash. It's so... The photos are so... I feel like I'm looking at someone being raped. A lot of the time I can't handle it. It's f-cked. I never expected that this would be my life."
Oh here we go. It’s that young celebrity self-involvement, almost an over-awareness of oneself, and a tendency to hyperbolise. Young people, they’re narcissistic as it is. And when you throw fame into that mix, it becomes even worse. Megan Fox is guilty of this all the time. You are no doubt already very familiar with the stupid sh-t that comes out of her mouth.
Only this time it’s Kristen Stewart. As you know, I like Kristen Stewart. A lot. But while her fans and defenders and of course those Twi-Hards will argue that she has a right to protest against the paparazzi and the tabloids and the relentless hysteria that seems to surround her, supporting Stewart’s contention that the experience of being photographed is akin to being raped (obviously extremely ignorant and offensive) is tantamount to suggesting then that the fan is also doing the raping. After all, in Stewart’s example in particular, interest in her photos is 100% driven by the Twilight public. Condemning only the industry that feeds that public is not only a weak cop-out, it’s an extremely immature understanding of Celebrity as an ecosystem, where all parts are dependent on another. Stewart is a willing participant in a game that simply wouldn’t exist without the irksome-for-some, welcome-for-others presence of fans and photographers.
Without THEM there is no HER. Unfortunately that tiresomely ubiquitous celebrity sense of entitlement has also infected Kristen Stewart. Because in real life there are sh-tty parts that come with a job. Like say data entry. Or cleaning a toilet. Or lifting heavy boxes and tearing away at your back muscles. Or travelling so much you don’t get to see your family. Some people have to endure the horrible and unpleasant job duties because they have no choice. Kristen Stewart however chose to be an actor because she loves her job. And in doing so appears to expect that being an actor means that her job, unlike our jobs, should never come with a downside. Her job’s downside happens to be that people want to look at her picture. Her job’s upside is that she might get to work with really great artists and learn from them, and sometimes not work at all, for like 3 or 4 months at a time, and go on luxe holidays, and not worry about not having a college education to build for a future, and have the time for hours upon hours to read and learn and grow as a person.
Stewart is the headlining star of a major bubblegum franchise that actively engages the online community to secure and expand its fanbase. She has her own goddamn action figure. She’s dating her co-star. It’s more than a little self-indulgent then to compare the perhaps irritating itch of the paps in her face to being the victim of a sexual assault, wouldn’t you say?
I’m all for Kristen Stewart giving the finger, I’m all for her telling someone to f-ck off if she’s not in the mood, but I can’t get down with Kristen Stewart asstalking like she’s Megan Fox. She’s much smarter than this. So I have full confidence that when she steps of the bubble post Bella Swan, she’ll probably wake up to it.
Various images of a beautiful Stewart in Australia are attached including sightseeing with Tom Cruise Jr and posing with him at the photo call today during which he appeared to be trying out his side-lean with a lip-bite.
